Ingredients

Chancletas de Güisquil

4 Green güisquiles

¾ cup of Sweet bread crumb

1 teaspoon of Cinnamon

¼ cup of Cream

¼ cup of Raisins

½ teaspoon of Salt

1 tablespoon of Melted margarine

Preparation

Step 1 : Steam the güisquiles in very little water with salt until they are cooked.

Step 2 : Then, cut them in half lengthwise and carefully scoop out the pulp, reserving the shells.

Step 3 : In a separate bowl, mix the güisquil pulp with all the remaining ingredients and stir well.

Step 4 : Fill the hollow shells with this mixture and sprinkle the bread crumbs and melted margarine on top.

Step 5 : Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 to 15 minutes, approximately 25 minutes in total.

Step 6 : Once ready, serve and enjoy.
