5 cups vegetable oil

1 lb drained marinated bocconcini (small mozzarella balls)

3 large eggs, beaten

1 cup fine dry bread crumbs

Step 4 : Working in batches of 10, drop the balls into the hot oil using a slotted spoon and fry, turning occasionally, until golden, about 30 seconds per batch.
