Chiltepe Sauce
Ingredients
½ pound of Tomatillo
1 Garlic clove
1 Onion
20 Chiltepe chiles without stems
1 cup of Chopped cilantro
1 pinch of Salt
Preparation
Step 1 : The tomatillos, garlic, onion, and chiltepes are roasted in a skillet.
Step 2 : Then, place the roasted vegetables in a blender along with the cilantro and blend until you get a smooth mixture.
Step 3 : Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes, seasoning with salt to taste.
Step 4 : Let it cool down, and you will have a delicious chiltepe sauce.
