Chiltepe Sauce
Ingredients
½ pound of Miltomate
1 Garlic clove
1 Onion
20 Chiltepe peppers without stems
1 cup of Chopped cilantro
1 pinch of Salt
Preparation
Step 1 : The miltomates, garlic, onion, and chiltepe peppers are roasted in a skillet.
Step 2 : Then, place the roasted vegetables in the blender along with the cilantro and blend until smooth.
Step 3 : The mixture is simmered for 5 minutes over low heat and seasoned with salt to taste.
Step 4 : Let it cool and you will have a delicious chiltepe sauce.
