Marlilas is a traditional dish from the Xinka people. It is made with seasoned corn dough, filled with beans, and wrapped in guinea leaf. They are cooked in water and served with tomato, onion, and chiltepes chirmol.

Ingredients
8 pounds of Corn dough
2 ½ pounds of Ground beans
1 pinch of Salt
2 Guinea leaf packets
Preparation
Step 1 : Season the corn dough with salt and form a ball of about 6 ounces.
Step 2 : Stretch the dough and place it on a cloth, adding a layer of beans.
Step 3 : Wrap the dough by giving approximately seven turns and pack it in guinea leaf.
Step 4 : The dough balls are cooked in a pot with a liter of water until cooked.
Step 5 : Finally, serve with tomato and onion chirmol with chiltepes.
