Ingredients

2 Bunches of boiled greens

1 pound of Tomatoes

1 Bell pepper

1 Onion

1 cup of Water

2 tablespoons of Oil

Broth

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare Guatemalan boiled greens, the boiled greens must first be stripped and washed thoroughly with plenty of water to clean them completely.

Step 2 : Next, finely chop the tomatoes and bell pepper, as well as dice the onion.

Step 3 : In a saucepan with hot oil, fry the onion until translucent.

Step 4 : Then, add the chopped tomatoes and bell pepper, and fry together with the onion.

Step 5 : Next, add the herbs, a little water, cover the saucepan, and cook everything for 5 minutes over medium heat.

Step 6 : To finish, season the preparation with salt and broth to taste, and cook for approximately 15 to 20 more minutes, until the flavors are properly integrated.

Step 7 : Once ready, the Guatemalan boiled greens are served and ready to be enjoyed by all.
