Stuffed Chiles in Tomato Sauce
Ingredients
1 ½ pound of Ground beef
60 grams of Breadcrumbs
10 Large-sized peppers
1 Egg
2 Garlic cloves
10 Tomatoes
1 Onion
¼ teaspoon of Ground black pepper
2 ½ teaspoons of Salt
1 teaspoon of Vegetable oil
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare the stuffed chiles, start by cleaning the peppers, removing a slice where the stem is, and extracting the seeds.
Step 2 : In a bowl, mix the chopped tomatoes, diced onion, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper with the raw ground meat and stuff the peppers with this mixture.
Step 3 : In a separate pot, boil the other tomatoes in a glass of water and then blend them together with the water, adding salt to taste.
Step 4 : In a frying pan, sauté finely chopped garlic and onion, then add the blended tomato sauce.
Step 5 : Place the peppers upright, with the opening facing upwards, inside the sauce, cover the pot and let it boil for 20 minutes.
Step 6 : This delicious dish can be accompanied with mashed potatoes or rice, and it's ready to enjoy!
