2 güisquiles

Cheese

2 eggs

3 tablespoons of flour

Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : The güisquiles are halved and placed in a pot with water, where they are cooked for 8 minutes.

Step 2 : Then they are removed and allowed to cool before peeling and slicing.

Step 3 : In a container, two egg whites are beaten until foamy.

Step 4 : Add the yolks and continue beating.

Step 5 : Subsequently, add 3 tablespoons of flour and salt, and continue beating until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Step 6 : Heat a pan with oil.

Step 7 : Place cheese between two slices of güisquil, dip in the egg mixture and brown in the pan on both sides until crispy and golden.

Step 8 : Guatemalan chilaquilas of güisquil are served accompanied by Guatemalan tomato sauce if you want to add more flavor.
