Traveling Tamales
Ingredients
1 pound of Corn dough
1 ½ liter of Water
1 Bunch of dry husks
Preparation
Step 1 : In a large container, mix the pound of corn dough with water until a smooth consistency is obtained.
Step 2 : Knead the dough on the table for five minutes.
Step 3 : Soak the bunch of husks to soften the dry leaves and wrap the dough in them.
Step 4 : Tear strips of husk to tie the traveling tamales and then place them in a large pot.
Step 5 : Cover with water and cook the tamales for 1 hour over medium heat.
Step 6 : Once cooked, let them cool, cut into slices, and heat before serving with typical dishes.
