Candied Fruit Muffin
Ingredients
½ pound of Margarine
½ pound of Sugar
4 Eggs
½ teaspoon of Vanilla essence
2 cups of Flour
1 teaspoon of Baking powder
1 pound of Candied fruit
Condensed milk
½ teaspoon of Salt
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare the muffin, beat the margarine, sugar, and salt in a clean, deep bowl until creamy.
Step 2 : Then, add the eggs one by one while continuing to beat.
Step 3 : Incorporate the vanilla, flour, and baking powder while still beating, until a unified dough is obtained.
Step 4 : Grease and flour a half-pound circular mold.
Step 5 : Once this is done, pour the mixture into the mold and add the candied fruit, if desired.
Step 6 : Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake the muffin for 35-40 minutes.
Step 7 : To check for doneness, a toothpick can be used, which should come out clean.
Step 8 : Once baked, let it cool and add condensed milk, spreading the candied fruit on top.
