Ingredients

1 cup of Wheat flour

1 ½ cup of Yellow corn flour

1 tablespoon of Baking powder

½ cup of Sugar

½ teaspoon of Salt

1 cup of Milk

1 Egg

¼ cup of Melted butter

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare the sweet corn bread, start by preheating the oven to 400°F.

Step 2 : In a bowl, mix the corn flour, wheat flour, sugar, baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.

Step 3 : Then, beat the mixture at high speed for 3 minutes.

Step 4 : Add, while still beating, 1 cup of milk, 1 egg, and 1/4 cup of melted butter.

Step 5 : Mix everything well with enveloping movements until obtaining a soft and sticky dough.

Step 6 : Grease a baking mold and pour the dough into it, giving it a rounded shape.

Step 7 : Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.

Step 8 : Once ready, remove from the oven and let the bread cool for 30 minutes.

Step 9 : Finally, serve a portion of sweet corn bread and decorate with powdered sugar on top.
