Ingredients

1 ½ kilogram of Cassava

250 grams of Dry cheese

½ teaspoon of Baking powder

1 Egg

Honey

Preparation

Step 1 : Wash, peel, and cut the cassava into small pieces.

Step 2 : Place the pieces in a pot, cover with water, and cook for 20 minutes until soft.

Step 3 : Remove from heat and let cool.

Step 4 : Then, blend the mixture to obtain a puree and place it in a bowl with the egg, dry cheese, and baking powder.

Step 5 : Mix everything, take small portions with a spoon, and drop them into hot oil.

Step 6 : Fry for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown, remove from heat, and drain excess oil.

Step 7 : Finally, you can add the fritters to the honey for them to absorb its sweetness or simply sprinkle them to taste when serving.
