Ingredients

12 Plantains not very ripe

120 grams of Pepitoria

120 grams of Sesame seeds

1 Dried chili pepper

1 Guaque chili

8 Large tomatoes

1 Cinnamon stick

1 ½ pound of Chocolate

1 ½ pound of Approximately sugar

1 liter of Oil

2 Champurradas

Preparation

Step 1 : It is recommended to start by cutting the plantains lengthwise and then fry them in enough oil until golden brown.

Step 2 : Then, they should be reserved in a separate container.

Step 3 : In a large skillet, brown the pepitoria and sesame seeds, and then blend this mixture and reserve.

Step 4 : In the same skillet, brown the dried chili pepper, guaque chili, tomatoes, champurradas, and cinnamon stick.

Step 5 : Once browned, all ingredients should be blended and then strained.

Step 6 : In a pot, fry the previous sauce and add sugar, chocolate, and water in the necessary amount.

Step 7 : Then, this sauce should be added to the fried plantains and cooked for a few more minutes.

Step 8 : To finish, you can garnish with golden sesame seeds and serve this dish full of characteristic flavors and aromas.
