Broken Corn Atol
Ingredients
230 grams of Corn
1 pinch of Fresh ginger
1 pinch of Cinnamon
60 grams of Sugar
1 pinch of Salt
1 liter of Water
Preparation
Step 1 : Start by placing 100 grams of corn and half a liter of water in a blender.
Step 2 : Add peeled ginger and blend everything.
Step 3 : Then, transfer the mixture to a pot and add cinnamon.
Step 4 : Proceed to blend the remaining corn and water, incorporating it into the pot.
Step 5 : Bring the mixture to a boil for 10 minutes, adding water if necessary and stirring constantly.
Step 6 : Add sugar and salt to taste, checking the cooking.
Step 7 : Finally, serve in a jicara or cup.
