20 Lemons
1 Ginger
½ teaspoon of Anis
Raiz de cordoncillo
4 ounces of Brown sugar
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare this refreshing drink, first squeeze the lemon juice and place it in a clay pot.
Step 2 : Then, cover the pot and let it ferment for two months.
Step 3 : After this time, proceed to roast the ginger and anise on charcoal with the skin.
Step 4 : These ingredients are added to the pot where the fermented lemon is, along with the cordoncillo root and sugar, and mix everything very well.
Step 5 : Finally, add two liters of water and serve the drink with ice.
