Traditional Chuchitos

Ingredients

2 pounds of Chicken cut into pieces

3 pounds of Corn flour

1 Bar of margarine

Oil

Broth

Seasoning

Corn husks

5 Tomatoes

1 Passion Chile

1 Guasque Chile

2 Miltomates

1 Onion

2 Garlic cloves

1 Bell pepper

1 ½ ounce of Pumpkin seed

2 ounces of Sesame seed

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : In a skillet, toast the sesame seed, pumpkin seed, garlic cloves, Guasque Chile, and Passion Chile.

Step 2 : Meanwhile, cook the tomatoes, onion, bell pepper, and miltomates in a pot, then blend this mixture.

Step 3 : Next, add the blended mixture to a pot with oil and season to taste.

Step 4 : Prepare the corn dough with margarine, salt, seasoning, onion salt, and oil.

Step 5 : Season the chicken with broth and salt, then add it to the stew.

Step 6 : To form the chuchitos, use the prepared dough and stew, wrapping them in corn husks.

Step 7 : Cook the wrapped chuchitos in water for about 2 hours.

Step 8 : When serving, accompany the Guatemalan chuchitos with salsa for chuchitos.
