Ingredients
300 grams of Ground beef
150 grams of Ham
40 grams of Grated parmesan cheese
1 Egg
15 grams of Breadcrumbs
50 grams of Chopped parsley
1 pinch of Nutmeg
20 grams of Wheat flour
1 Finely chopped onion
3 tablespoons of Olive oil
400 grams of Carrot
1 pinch of Thyme
Preparation
Step 1 : Chop the meat and the ham and add the grated parmesan cheese, the egg, the breadcrumbs, the chopped parsley, and a pinch of nutmeg. Mix well.
Step 2 : Roll the mixture into a roll and flour.
Step 3 : Chop the onion. Heat a non-stick pan with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and sauté the onion.
Step 4 : When translucent, add it to the meatloaf and cook for about 40 minutes.
Step 5 : Turn occasionally and, if necessary, sprinkle with a few tablespoons of boiling water.
Step 6 : While cooking the roll, wash and scrape the carrots, cut them into sticks, and steam them.
Step 7 : When tender but crunchy, drain them. Drizzle with the remaining olive oil and sprinkle with thyme flakes.
Step 8 : Serve the meatloaf in slices with the carrots as a garnish.
