Plantains in Mole
Ingredients
1 Bell pepper
1 Ancho chili pepper
2 ounces of Sesame seeds
1 Cinnamon stick
3 Plantains
4 ounces of Chocolate
2 ounces of Sesame seeds
Sugar
1 cup of Tomato sauce
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare this delicious dish, start by cutting the bell pepper into 4 pieces and removing the seeds.
Step 2 : Then, brown it in a skillet with the ancho chili pepper, sesame seeds, and cinnamon stick.
Step 3 : Next, add the sesame seeds and continue browning for another 2 minutes.
Step 4 : Next, melt the chocolate in boiling water and blend this mixture with the previously browned ingredients.
Step 5 : Fry the plantain slices and set aside.
Step 6 : In a pot, combine and boil the blended mixture with tomato sauce and sugar, then add the fried plantains.
Step 7 : Stir well to integrate all the flavors.
