Ingredients

2 pounds of Cubed meat

5 Ripe tomatoes

1 Seedless sweet pepper

1 Onion, halved

4 Cilantro stems

3 Garlic cloves

3 Potatoes, cubed

2 Carrots, sliced

1 tablespoon of White wine or vinegar

1 tablespoon of Chicken or beef broth

3 tablespoons of Oil

Bay leaves

Preparation

Step 1 : First, prepare a sauce by cooking the tomatoes, sweet pepper, onion, and garlic in a large pot.

Step 2 : Once cooked, transfer them to a blender and blend well, reserving the mixture.

Step 3 : In a deep skillet, heat oil and add minced garlic and bay leaves.

Step 4 : Add the chopped meat and season with salt and pepper.

Step 5 : Brown the meat on both sides and then add the white wine.

Step 6 : Add the previously prepared sauce to the skillet with the meat, seasoning with bay leaves, salt, and pepper to taste.

Step 7 : Let it simmer over medium heat for about 20 minutes or until the mixture has thickened.

Step 8 : Finally, add carrots, potatoes, and cilantro to the preparation, cooking until all the ingredients are tender.

Step 9 : Serve the stewed meat accompanied with white rice.
