Beef Feet Broth
Ingredients
4 liters of Water
3 pounds of Beef feet
600 grams of Peeled cassava
6 Chopped tomatoes
1 pound of Cubed potatoes
4 Crushed garlic cloves
½ Chopped red onion
3 Chopped cilantro stems
½ Chopped bunch of mint
1 Chopped bell pepper
1 Large carrot in cubes
1 Chayote squash in cubes
Broth cube
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare this delicious beef feet soup recipe, first wash the beef feet and cut them into large pieces.
Step 2 : Then, place the beef feet in a large pot and boil for about an hour.
Step 3 : After that time, add the crushed garlic cloves, red onion, cilantro, mint, a pinch of salt, pepper, broth cube, and water.
Step 4 : Let it simmer for another hour over low heat.
Step 5 : Next, add the cassava, carrot, potato, and chayote squash, and cook for about 20 to 30 minutes.
Step 6 : When turning off the heat, remove the cassava strings and chop it into medium pieces, then add the tomatoes along with the chopped cassava.
Step 7 : Simmer for another 20 to 25 minutes, and adjust the flavors by adding more salt, pepper, and broth cube if necessary, making sure there is enough broth.
Step 8 : Finally, serve the soup garnished with a little cilantro and chopped green onion, and add lime when serving.
