2 cups of Black beans

½ Onion

2 Garlic cloves

7 cups of Water

2 teaspoons of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare the beans, place them in a bowl and remove any impurities they may have.

Step 2 : It is important to wash them carefully and then soak them in water for at least 1 hour, or leave them soaking overnight.

Step 3 : Once soaked, strain and place them in a slow cooker.

Step 4 : Add onion, garlic, salt, and 8 cups of water to the pot.

Step 5 : Bring to a boil over high heat and cook for 4 hours.

Step 6 : It is important to taste the beans to check their consistency.

Step 7 : If necessary, they can be cooked longer to achieve the desired texture.

Step 8 : Once ready, they can be served with white cheese or cream.
